Who we are

A small practice, on purpose.

Julie Peter started Angelcare in Arvada in 2004 to do one thing well: handle the business of life for seniors who no longer can. The bills, the paperwork, the court filings, the estate. Especially for those facing dementia. Especially for those with no family to step in.

We've come alongside her to make a good practice better. We stay small on purpose: the same standards, more hands, and the work never rests on one person.

The people who do this work get to do what they do best, with systems behind them that keep every deadline and filing on time, so the details don't get lost. That's what lets us become the steady presence in someone's life, the one who shows up and notices when something's wrong.

What guides the work
  • Love people. For a fiduciary, loving the client is the job. We act in someone's best interest at all times.
  • Tell the truth. Clear answers, including the hard ones.
  • Details matter. Every action recorded. Every dollar accounted for.
  • Be the light. The work is heavy. We carry the weight so the family doesn't have to.
The people behind the work

The people who show up when it matters.

When you call Angelcare, you reach the people who do the work, sign the accounting, and show up at the facility. Here's who they are.

Emily Scott

Owner & Senior Fiduciary

Emily owns Angelcare and serves as its senior fiduciary. She stands behind every client's care: the visits, the court filings, the decisions that have to be right. She runs the practice from Arvada.

Julie Peter

Founder

Julie started Angelcare in Arvada in 2004 and built it over two decades into a practice families and courts rely on. She's known for showing up for the clients who had no one else, and she's helping carry the work forward.

Kim Farrington

Associate Fiduciary

Kim brings decades of experience to Angelcare across paralegal work, probate court, and the day-to-day care of elders. She protects each client's finances, records, and court matters with the care of someone who never loses sight of the person behind the paperwork.

Taylor Scott

Owner & Operations

Taylor builds the systems behind the practice: the deadline tracking, the records, and the technology that keeps every court filing on time. He keeps the back office steady so the team can stay focused on the people they serve.

Our standing

Angelcare has served the Denver metro from Arvada since 2004. Our conservatorship and estate work answers to the court: required filings and a full annual accounting, every year. Dementia and Alzheimer's care has been a focus of the practice from the start.
