We take on as much or as little of the business of life as the situation needs.
The business of life, handled.
Day to day, this is the work we take off a person's plate, and a family's. We do as much or as little as the situation needs.

One of three roles, depending on the moment.
The work above stays the same. What changes is the authority we act under, and that follows where a person is in their life.
Power of Attorney Agent
The earliest step. While someone still has capacity to make their own decisions, they name us as their agent under a durable power of attorney. We catch up the bills, consolidate the accounts, manage a move to the right facility, and keep the paperwork in order, with their wishes still guiding the work. When needed, we coordinate medical decisions through established patient-advocacy partners.
Conservator
When capacity is gone and there's no power of attorney in place, the court appoints a conservator. We take control of the finances, protect the assets, and answer to the court, with an inventory and financial plan up front and a full accounting every year. Best when there are significant assets or a history of financial exploitation.
Personal Representative
After a death, when there's no one to settle the estate or no one who should have to, we serve as personal representative. We carry out the will, work the probate process, and close the estate the way the person intended. Probate is familiar ground for us.
